Film Competition for Aspiring Filmmakers

The pivotal event of the festival is of course the Competition for Filmmakers.

Known for their irreverence, integrity, honesty, humour and warmth – as well as their use of social commentary - Charlie Chaplin’s films have truly stood the test of time. The Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival aims to reflect the courageous and pioneering spirit of Chaplin’s work through screenings of his films and a competition for new and aspiring filmmakers.
